Eid Stamp Response Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2004 - 7:52 a.m. The landlord dropped by yesterday to see about our leaky sink. He took a look at the problem, muttered something about how much it would cost, and disappeared again, but not before he said he would try and get a contractor there this week, and apologizing in advance if there was not a 24 hour notice. Later in the day when the mail was delivered, the Tenant's Union handbook arrived. I'm reading off and on about my rights as a tenant in San Francisco, and I'm divided between rolling my eyes and cackling with glee. I think the next time the landlord is here, I'll let him see me reading the handbook. --- The email below is making the rounds yet again:
