Thank you to John for the beautiful birthday card!

It's got bunnies on it, which are my favorite critter in the world.

Thank you also to Marion Kubichan, who sent a package to me for my birthday. I am currently four hundred miles away from that package, but I cannot *wait* to get back to San Francisco and see what it is.

The weather here is actually mild this week; we are blessed with overcast skies and temperatures up into the mid 60s.

John went to visit Toren and Tomoko last night and he sent me a couple of pictures of their new Corgi; it's got a white blaze on its chest, and a sable coat. It looks like a dachsund wearing a collie costume.
