Cinco De Mayo 2008

Monday, May. 05, 2008 - 12:35 a.m.

Happy Cinco De Mayo.

Art has Zipper back, thanks to the wonderful Rosie who drove approximately seventeen hundred miles in only a few days.

And please remember that Zipper was a passenger for half of that time.

I'll just bet he was the sweetest, nicest QUIETEST widdle kittyboo in the whole wide world!

AAAHHHAHAHAHAH I lied! AAARRRGHGHGHHG! I cringe just thinking about that!

A lesser woman could not have done it.

Bravo!

This is adapted from a music meme blog I found courtesy of The Memes List in the left column.

Name 10 songs you listened to this weekend:

Love Will Find A Way -- Pablo Cruise
Bright Side Of The Sun -- Men Without Hats
She Talks In Stereo -- Gary Myrick & The Figures
You Know I'm No Good -- Amy Winehouse
Days Go By -- Dirty Vegas
Forever Young -- Alphaville
Time After Time -- Cyndi Lauper
Canned Heat -- Jamiroquai
Music For A Found Harmonium -- Penguin Cafe Orchestra
The Promise -- When In Rome

Based on half the songs on this list, I'll just bet more than a few of you can tell me which DVD John and I watched on Sunday evening.

The San Jose Sharks were defeated last night in a very very excellent and very very long game, by the Dallas Stars, 2-1 in the fourth overtime.

As the Sharks were leaving the ice, the victorious Dallas fans were leaning over out of their seats and patting the Sharks on the back, shaking their hands and mouthing the words 'great game' over and over to each player.

Sportsmanship is a dying art -- so it was a sight to behold.

And finally, here's what gas is going for in our neighborhood:

This is the first time I've ever seen all of the digits be a 4.

---

All rightie, I think that's it.

Have a good Monday, if you can possibly conceive of such a thing.
