Pivot

Tuesday, May. 13, 2008 - 12:37 a.m.

Hey, you know what?

I don't think I've ever answered the Pivot questions here.

These are the ones that James Lipton asks of his guests on the show Inside The Actors Studio.

This is only how I feel as of this writing.

I wouldn't be surprised if these changed from moment to moment.

What is your favorite word?

Forgiven.

What is your least favorite word?

Shouldn't

What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?

Tie: Making music or preparing a really good meal.

What turns you off creatively, spiritually or emotionally?

Religious hypocrisy

What sound or noise do you love?

A sigh of satisfaction

What sound or noise do you hate?

A slamming door. I also despise this on a metaphoric level, too.

What is your favorite curse word?

My favorite is 'dickslap', although I defintely use the F-word more frequently.

What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?

Air traffic controller

What profession would you not like to do?

Pediatric phlebotomist

If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?

There's been a mistake, but we're gonna let you stay because we screwed up.

I found these in the Wikipedia entry for Inside The Actors Studio.

Give it a whack if you so desire.

That's it; have a good Tuesday.

"Dickslap??" Heh. Never heard that one. My favorite "curse" word (I seldom use real ones) is from Ghostbusters. "Mother pussbucket." Coming in a close second is "dang crap-it." Followed by "suckwad."
