It's going to be one of the hottest days of the year here in San Francisco.
So, if you don't see me online, it's because the power is out, or I'm hibernating in the cool dark bedroom where John had Elvised the windows.
If you're worried about my whereabouts, feel free to ping.

Okay.
Been working on the musical mondegreen from yesterday, and have come up with a little something:
Fair of chocolate Fair of chocolate
Door nail foo Door nail foo
Sunny llama Tina Sunny llama Tina
Then there's Don. Then there's Don.
If you wish to submit a storyline pertaining to the above, feel free.

I gave John a haircut last night, and it turned out well and good, but while we were involved in that activity, I noticed the lovely pink light coming in through the west window, so I excused myself from John's head for a minute and went and grabbed my camera and took a picture:
The haircut was more or less concluded about a half hour later, and I happened to glance out the window again and see the sky about twenty minutes or so after the sun had set:
Sorry if this second picture reads as being dark, but this really is what color everything was.

That top picture is absolutely gorgeous! Not sure about your verses though -- I'll have to sleep on 'em. (J/K) --- requiel - 2008-05-15 09:08:29
Wow, those pics are breathtaking, very nice. Stay cool today. --- art - 2008-05-15 09:32:58
She had a fair of chocolate
Because of the Door nail broken,
She said, foo;
Her llama Tina loved it when it was Sunny Out
With her Fair of chocolate dark;
Then there's Don the maintenence man
to fix the Door nail true;
So she wont say foo!
And after the repair, they cut Sunny llama Tina's
hair, and ate a Fair of Chocolate, and said, There! --- chaos the javelina hunter - 2008-05-15 12:18:27
I got some similar pictures in Tombstone... yours are awesome! And did you know today is national Chocolate Chip day?? I bought some Chips Ahoy just for that reason!! --- Jeff - 2008-05-16 03:41:21
National Chocolate Chip Day????? How did this happen and I don't know about it? Egad!! I'm going to have to bake cookies Saturday to retroactively celebrate. Can it be National Chocolate Chip Year?
Oh, and, yeah. Beautiful picture. Sunsets in CA are amazing. I'm jealous in Texas. I've had three vacations in California, two in southern and one just south of Mendocino. Frankly, I enjoyed the northern one more. Sigh. *daydreams of Irish Beach* ---
