Memorial Day 2008

John's been doing a really great job getting his iTunes whipped into shape; over this long weekend, he's been going through our CDs and having a glorious time cherry picking and customizing his playlists and whatnot.

Later today is the Belmont Stakes, with Big Brown at the forefront to secure the first Triple Crown victory in three decades.

Except, he has a quarter crack on his left front hoof. He's scheduled to race.

Let's hope he survives, and maybe even wins.

Today is Memorial Day here in the USA; I am grateful to everybody who has served for this country.

As for me, I'm enjoying an allergic reaction to some meds I took. I'm bright pink, but my respiration and pulse is normal.

I took two Benadryls about ten minutes ago, and maybe it's psychosomatic, but I already feel a little better.

where are the so called animal rights activists when you need them? ah! i get it! they only beat up on the little people!!! well, if this horse has a quarter crack in his hoof, he should NOT run!!!

Brin, this is weird - my Diaryland buddy list has you as last updating 35 days ago and had I not noticed, I wouldn't have seen your new entry. Are you seeing this in your buddy list? Is there a glitch in the matrix?
