Angels Versus Mariners

The game was really nice yesterday evening.

Here's what the field and stadium looked like right before the players took the field:

I'd forgotten what a cozy place Angel Stadium really is; you almost have to rely on your neighbor's cooperation if you want to get out of your seat or relocate for any reason on the face of the earth.

The game went well, and at one point, in the spirit of Mr. Tyzik, Dave decided to reach out onto the field, and crush the Mariners outfielder Suzuki Ichiro:

We're not sure if this helped, but the Angels triumphed with a score of 7-4.

Yes, please! Please crush Ichiro. Which is his first name, by the way...I think he's the only player with his first name on his uniform. Very nice picture of the pregame stadium, by the way. I think there's nothing much prettier than a baseball stadium at night.
