Omaha Lunch

I've had a sore left shoulder ever since Saturday. I usually can sleep this off, but it's taking a couple of extra days to repair itself.

And no, I haven't had a heart attack.

Yesterday I had lunch at the nearest BurgerMeister with Omaha Dave. Miraculously, we found parking within a half block, and even though part of that block was hilly, I caught my breath again in under five minutes. It was good to see him, and he was very patient with me as I received and sent messages with Old Buddy Dave to see what's going on with the fires.

OBDave had mostly good news, which I presume he'll mention in today's post.

In the meantime if you want direct information, I'm recommending having a look at The Orange County Reigster.

Or, if you have iTunes, go to your 'Radio' function and select 'Talk / Spoken Word' and within that sub-sort, look for KNX, which is an all news station with 24 hour coverage.

I was able to knock my allergies back enough without tipping over to sleep there in the burger joint, although when I got home, I went to bed around seven pm and slept untl three this morning.
