Cat Pix & Fund Progress

First of all, THANK YOU for the amazingly generous donations to help pay for Old Buddy Dave's Cat Repair Bill.

I've heard from exes, old friends, strangers and friends of friends. Your generosity has humbled me.

As of this writing, we have raised a little over three hundred dollars. With Art's contribution coming in on Monday, this will bring the total to over four hundred dollars.

The total bill is going to be two thousand two hundred or thereabouts, so this does offset about twenty percent of the expenses.

If you are hesitant to make a contribution until you have more confirmation, that's fine.

At the suggestion of the cat's vet himself, please feel free to call Cottage Pet Hospital in Anaheim at (714) 535-6714 and ask for Dr. Sahai. ("suh HI")

If the doctor is not in, then go ahead and confirm that there's a "Kitty Marron" or "Laila Marron" there.

As you can see, she is actually kind of small for her age.

Here she was on the first day of her hospitalization:

When Dave was touching her, she purred and 'made biscuits' and offered head-butts. (Pic above demonstrates her in mid-biscuit.) She's been tolerant of the whole staff at the vet's office, but the *really* good love-loves have been saved for her new owner.

And as was the case with Solange -- she's chosen *him.*

Okay, that's it. I have to go back to the Bay Area today, but I will be able to manage the donations from there.
