Doing What Stars Do

I spent the better part of Saturday evening watching "Stardust" again with John.

There are new surprises every time I see it, along with memories of viewings past which make me smile.

An entirely enjoyable film, over and over again.

John just recently procured the graphic novel, and as he'd been reading, the movie is different.

But then again, so was the case with Gone With The Wind. Each are terrific in their own way.

Today, I'll be out on the deep blue ocean as part of my journey to band practice in Vacaville by way of Vallejo.

Well, okay, I'll be out on the bay. The ferry is always pleasant.

Then again, I've never been on it when the water has been anything but calm.

Congratulations to Mine That Bird, the fifty-to-one shot winner of this year's Kentucky Derby.

Laila and Solange continue their efforts at kitty harmony.

There is still the occasional hiss, mainly from Laila who is still recuperating, but generally, things are stable.
