Pretty & Colors Wednesday, Jun. 17, 2009 - 12:51 a.m. Yesterday, I saw a painting featured on a Jeopardy question that sent me running to the search engines, and I found a fellow named Wassily Kandinsky. He is considered by many to be the progenitor of modern abstract art. His early efforts that look like Van Gogh are kind of interesting because of their bright colors. However, what completely captivates me is his geometric artwork: Among my faves as of this writing are Circles In Circle, Gravitation, and Yellow, Red & Blue. I'm completely smitten with this artist's work right now. One of these days I shall acquire a poster of one of his paintings or something. --- In other news... Ooh. Pretty. And of course it's the last damn thing I need. But still. Pretty. --- Sean made it through his procedure and his wife says he's not resting like he should. But that's Sean. --- Finally, my voice is still wonked from Sunday, and I'm *hoping* this isn't something worse than a strain. We shall see. --- Okay, there we go. Have a good Wednesday. ---
