A Sense Of Pride

Yesterday during the final day of the Pride weekend, I went to Vacaville and practiced as part of Alan And The Archives.

While standing in our driveway after bringing me home from practice, Alan called me a name in front of John.

He called me a bassist.

Mike had run late, so I asked if I could try and fill in before he got there, and was told yes.

There are bunches of my old readers and at least one brand spanking new reader that know why, when I thought back on this about ten minutes ago, my eyes filled with tears.

I am travelling today, so I promise to give a more detailed writeup of Sunday on Tuesday.

Or something.

Serendipity: Of all the gin joints in all the world, I shared the ferry ride over with a fellow Mac / Garage Band aficionado who also plays guitar.

Go figure!
