Media & Heat Friday, Jul. 03, 2009 - 8:23 a.m. The Los Angeles radio media is very interesting this week; all they seem to be doing is talking about various aspects of the death of Michael Jackson. There's supposed to be a memorial at Staples Center on Tuesday, which will be different than the funeral on Monday. There's talk of a thirty-car funeral procession. Over a thousand of the area's police officers have been requested to discontinue any leave they may have been taking, and be prepared to work overtiime during Monday and Tuesday. I guess I'm terrible for not giving a rat's whisker about any of this as long as I can get back to the airport on Thursday night. --- We didn't get to the parks last night, as Wednesday's work load and Thursday's heat caught up with Dave and me respectively. Another attempt will be made today. --- Nothing else to report, kids. Have a good Friday. ---
