Eyebleach

Thursday, Sept. 10, 2009 - 12:03 a.m.

Wednesday's business call was good.

Alan had considered just folding the band for now, but then we had a drummer inquiry and a lead inquiry within like, two hours of each other, after the business call was done.

Fortunately, Alan logged into chat, and we could discuss what to do next.

So far, what's been decided is that Alan is going to work on his solo stuff on what would have been a full band rehearsal on the 13th.

A full band rehearsal WILL take place on the 20th. And if all goes well, we will have two new people, trying out for drums and lead, respectively.

So, wish us luck.

One of the things I believe with all my heart is that I am not here to decorate your world.

That said, I'm up the creek if I wear something stupid when I'm in a public place, and somebody takes a picture. A week and a half ago, I very nearly ended up walking two long blocks from a parking garage back to my home wearing jeans, a shirt, and my fuzzy purple bunny shoes.

So to the people who are upset about the People Of Walmart site?

For goodness sakes, dress nicely when you go to the store. It's not your goddamned den.

There will be eyebleach moments on the site, folks.

In the words of Old Buddy Dave, "State Fair, industrial strength."

---

That's pretty much it.

Have a good Thursday.

Italian sausage...I am speechless. Hub is going to die laughing, I just hope he doesn't want a pair or those.

OMG, what a funny site, People of Walmart! I just love the blue parrot on the clueless owner's shoulder, in the produce section. I figure there will always be folks with differing ideas on what's acceptable clothing when in public, for better or for worse. I will say that the image of fuzzy purple bunny shoes will be in my imagination for quite some time today. :-O
