Footy, Not Booty

I haven't been inclined to write a post Friday / Saturday.

Spike TV broadcast a quarter final game of the Australian National Rugby League finals, and I watched that instead of writing!

And I've come to find out that the Grand Final of Australian Rules Football will be broadcast live here on the west coast at 9 pm this next Friday night.

I am SO there. Darn it, nobody else with any understanding of the game is within a decent distance.

And goddammit, I'll bet they'll show some games, and then nothing.

Why are all the really cool sports so rare here in the Unites States?

Am I weird to be looking forward to watching curling?

But I won't be alone; John liked curling, too, and was pretty enthusiastic when he sat in here during the Rugby just now.

In other news, I think by close of business tomorrow night, Alan's song will be done, and I will have also provided a scratch track for him of my own original work.

I went ahead and booked my next visit to Disneyland.

Apparently I will be down there during the Halloween decorations, which are wonderful.
