Mad Zombie

Sunday, Sept. 27, 2009 - 2:02 a.m.

John asked me why I began watching Mad Men.

I found out that it was available on On Demand, and for some weeks, I had heard Ronn Owens mention how much he'd enjoyed it.

So I tried an episode -- and I couldn't look away.

As of this writing, we've purchased the DVDs for the first two seasons, and are probably going to be mostly caught up by the time the weekend is over.

Ronn's never steered me wrong.

The Creepy KOFY Movie was unsually good this time; Bela Lugosi in White Zombie turned out to have actually received three stars from the Leonard Maltin people.

I thought the movie heroine looked like Miss Crabtree from the early Little Rascals flicks, which kind of kept knocking me out of the story, but otherwise it was all right.

Courtesy of Fark, over on Rotten Tomatoes, here's a Worst Of The Worst movie list of the years 2000-2009.

That's it. Have a good Sunday.

I actually agree on almost that entire list. I think "Swept Away" was pretty good -- and I actually cried a little. I think it go a bad rap... And I also kinda liked "One Missed Call". Kinda. I love you!
