It's Official

Monday, Sept. 28, 2009 - 12:39 a.m.

Alan and I had a talk yesterday afternoon.

We decided it would be best to copyright the song immediately and separately from our other and future works.

So as of around ten pm last night, via the online version of the copyright office?

It's official. The song is entitled "I Love You" and will be available somewhere soon.

Tah Dah!

---

I was looking at a post over on Facebook, from Alan's brother Mike, and he'd taken a poll about whether or not Glenn Beck was to be believed.

I responded with the following comment:

Anybody who sees ANY talk show host as anything other than an entertainer has been winding their hair curlers too tight. Glenn Beck and others of his ilk should always be taken with an entire salt lick, and it's up to the individual to do their own research and find their own news. Personally, I haven't watched a single broadcast of USA-based national news, other than for a few harrowing weeks in the late summer and early fall of 2001. My main sources of news are Google News, the BBC, CSPAN, and the English language service of Deutsche Welle.

Most people have no idea that the rest of the world sees Americans as a bunch of overindulgent screwballs, and people like Glenn Beck don't help our credibility one bit.

But then again, the rest of the world might also be clued in that most American talk show hosts are full of gas.

Anyway, there ya go. If at all possible, have a nice Monday.

Hey girl..YAY on the song! Having dated a musician for 5 years, I know exactly what you are/were going through. Blood sweat and tears almost covers it. As for the hair, you and I are in the same boat. April was the last for me, and its MUCH too long now. No bangs to contend with, but its flat as all get out. I think I'm going professional again, she did a marvelous job and it did last till August. Again...congratulations!
