Hello i came across your diary by accident and wondered why you had a little starfish on your page, so i clicked it and came across this heart-warming entry, your father sounds like a really great guy, and i just wanted to say how lucky i think you are to have such a great father, i don't know my father very well so reading things about great fathers makes me believe they do exsist, thanks for the wonderful entry, goodbye, from Charli (age 17,UK)xx

Though I've been a fan of your diary for a while...I never took the time to click the starfish, which for some time has made me wonder about its origin. I found this entry, and it had the same impact on me as several of your other readers. It reminded me so much of my dad. This is a very moving entry

No words for this entry, just tears. I do love the star fish tale though.

This has to be without doubt the most beautiful entry I have ever read on Diary Land (and I've read a few). I've nothing more to say than this. :oP

Hi! I never thought to click on the star fish because I thought it was just part of your template. This is a great entry. I think it's great whenever I come acrossed a person who is just filled with love for somebody else. I try to do the same for my dad, but have difficulties at times. But this entry has given me that much more hope that someday instead of grudges and dissapointment I will be filled with love for my father. Thank you. PS-I really like the saying that your dad had.

I was just surfing around diaryland and came across your page. Curiousity got the best of me when I seen the starfish so I just had to click it. Wow what a story. My own father passed away when I was 16. Its been many years but I still miss him like it was yesterday. Just know that your father is watching over you and that someday you will see him again. He sounds like a wonderful man.

What a beautiful tribute to your father. And I love the photo of the two of you...how lucky you two were to have each other.
