Wow, I just sent you an email - anyway, just read your post. And you know, he's right. Bass players *are* in demand. I never told you, but my first paying gig out of college was playing bass, first in a studio, then for a live show. I began known among these people as a bass player, and the piano identity didn't kick in until later. Now I hardly ever play the bass - but anyway, I agree with that guy about the need & demand for good bassists. --- Jamie
Enjoy your holiday weekend, my beloved Brin! I love you. I rilly, rilly doooo. :-) --- art
i dont see why not play the bass and sing at the same time! jerry scheff, who was elvis' bass guitarist, also sang back up! so it can be done! ta da! --- Brin aka Bindyree
I see people who play the bass and sing. I know it can be done. However, you and anybody else who is about to encourage me to do it and good luck and go for it and whatever the hell else obviously have forgotten that I have a learning disability that makes it really difficult to do more than one thing at a time! :-) --- terry
I guess that's how a lot of performers feel -- "Wow. I get paid for doing something fun!" ---
