Purple Balloon Tuesday, Jun. 01, 2004 - 5:50 p.m. Here's the second post I halfway promised you guys. This picture is of Dave Bloomfield, the Dealer Liaison for Fanime Con 2004. He's wearing green. The reason he has a balloon tied to his hat is because even though he had a cell phone and a pager, he was still moving from place to place with such efficiency that sometimes he was difficult to find or to see. Finally, on Monday morning, he tied a purple balloon to his hat with plenty of ribbon -- and at last, we could find him in a relatively short time. He said there wasn't too much drag. I'm wondering if this is going to be a tradition. --- I'm excited to be going to the Keane concert later tonight; it's around six in the evening as I post this, but the concert is at nine. I'm allegedly meeting Br1@n Cl@yt0n down at the venue itself. I hope it's a good show. ---
