Rice & Golf Sunday, Apr. 09, 2006 - 11:52 a.m. I wasn't able to stay away from the pork fried rice when I was working on GarageBand overnight. I feel hung over. And I think the rice overdose is the reason I am still enjoying Weebl and Bob. --- Kind of a light day, writingwise. Gonna turn the tee and vee on today and watch Masters coverage. Yes, folks, that's right. I watch golf. When I first married John and he discovered that I actually sit down and watch golf, he teased me and made the usual comparisons to watching paint dry and flies mate and grass grow. Then a few years went past, and gradually he accepted that I would at least insist on watching golf on a Sunday so I could see who wins. Finally, one year, I said "Honey, sit down and watch the Clambake with me. There's a kid here named Tiger Woods who is turning pro after this tournament and they say he's pretty good." (The Pebble Beach Pro-Am used to be nicknamed the Crosby Clambake because it was backed by Bing Crosby.) He's been able to watch and enjoy it ever since. --- Have a good Sunday. ---
