World Cup 2006 Friday, Jun. 09, 2006 - 9:34 a.m. The World Cup started today in Munich with Germany versus Costa Rica. The USA team is actually pretty good this year and stands a chance of getting further in the rounds than ever before. I still say my favorite year was 1998, when France won at home. My most treasured memory aside from the final was the footage of the drunks asleep on the banks of the Champs-�lys�es the next morning. --- Friday Five for June 9th:
