This is my safe space

This is where I post, where I dream,
where I hurt, and where I recover.

Super Men

Saturday, Jun. 24, 2006 - 1:50 a.m.

I was sad to hear of the passing of Aaron Spelling.

I didn't watch a lot of television during the 80s, but when I did, there was usually something on at least one network that was produced by this man.

---

The last live original over the air terrestrial radio broadcast of the Phil Hendrie Show was last night.

I feel like I lost a dozen members of my family.

Friday Five -- better late than never...!

What is the one outfit/piece of clothing/accessory you own that makes you feel incredibly good whenever you wear it? Why?

I just got a denim jacket that makes me feel like that. Because it's short-waisted like I am, and it doesn't look like I borrowed it from Tommy Tune.

What do you do to make yourself feel better when you're in a funk?

Play music, either my own or one of the artists I love.

Has anyone ever surprised you in a way that let you know you were special? How?

Outside of everything my husband does along those lines -- The Bob Chance Band gave me a birthday card that everybody in the band had signed when I went and visited for my 40th birthday. I cried and cried.

When you are having a "good day," how do you spread the happiness to others?

I sing. Although there's still some question as to whether that pleases anybody else. :-P

What is one thing that puts you in a bad mood, no matter how good you were previously feeling?

Seeing people I love being treated unfairly.

Finally, Brandon Routh was on Larry King for a while Friday Night.

The latest Superman is pretty, but let's wait and see how the movie turns out.

There ya go. Have a good Saturday.
