IKEA Today Friday, Jun. 30, 2006 - 5:52 p.m. I'm still in Anaheim and it's still hot here. I was raised in this kind of heat, so it's really stunning to me that my body is so utterly unaware of how to deal with it now. Tonight, I'm going to Cero's. It will be so good to see the usual suspects there. I have 'travel bruises' on one wrist that look as if somebody picked me up by it and swung me around and then sat me down again, but otherwise I'm fine. I am, however, taking the drastic action of mailing home my icky laundry this time instead of carting it back with me. --- Earlier this afternoon, Dave and I went to IKEA in Costa Mesa, and we helped him get a few items for his kitchen. He recently moved. I'm also going to show him how to cook a batch of my World Famous Although Nobody Knows About It Beef Stew and exist on it for a week. We shall see how that goes. That's it from here. And wherever you are, I hope you're cooler than I am. ---
