Roasted Shat

Monday, Aug. 21, 2006 - 4:00 a.m.

I really enjoyed the William Shatner roast last night on Comedy Central; I was stunned at the amount of language that was allowed past the censors.

My two favorite roasters were George Takei and Betty White.

If you forgot about it, it will be on again at midnight tonight.

Okay, some stuff I found to post on Monday...

What kind of salt and pepper shakers do you have?

We have a double-decker with the salt in the top floor, and the whole pepper in the bottom floor, to be fresh ground as needed. We also have a regular little teensy tiny pair of salt and pepper shakers that are each about one cubic inch. Those were pilfered from a hotel.

What was your first word? (Or if you dont remember, what do you think it should have been?)

I am told that my first word aside from ma ma and da da was 'kee kat'. My grandmother had an applehead Siamese that I loved from infancy.

Do you own Crocs? Do you ever find yourself judging people wearing Crocs?

No, I don't. In both cases. They are ugly little shoes, but ugly shoes don't make the person.

What was the last book you read?

I just finished re-reading A Girl Of The Limberlost by Gene Stratton Porter. The last book I read that I hadn't read before was Catcher in the Rye, and it was a piece of shit.

How personal is the stuff you write about on your blog?

I write personally when the mood strikes me. The rest of the time I post silly little surveys. :-)

I found these somewhere on The Memes List.

I just notice what time it was. I'm going to post this and head to bed. Have a good Monday.
