Sequins of Events / Di Thursday, Aug. 31, 2006 - 5:06 a.m. So, basically, since the hurricane fizzled out and became a tropical storm, there's a possibility that we could see this headline: ERNESTO GIVES VIRGINIA SIX INCHES. --- I almost never tell people to go to YouTube, because if they're like me, they're trapped on a land line, and by the time the download is done, they've grown hair down to their belt loops and the Cleveland Browns have won the Super Bowl... But I'm doing it this time. Jer saw it and said the visual could have just as well been a still life of a piece of toast, and I agree. Pay more attention to the audio. Thanks to Toren Smith for the hook-up. --- Project Runway was fantastic last night. My favorite otaku, Jeffery, FINALLY won a challenge -- and Angela and her frizzy topknot and all thirty-one thousand of her rosettes have finally been eliminated. I think I know enough about how everybody thinks and creates to go out on a limb and predict who the final three are going to be: Michael, Laura, and Uli. Although I sure do respect and adore Vincent. He seems to be the only one there who isn't taking himself too seriously. There will never be another Santino, but Vincent's conviction, fearlessness, and ability to just leap into something without knowing what the sam hill he's doing is wonderful. None of the rest of those contestants would have stood there in their underthings due to taking off their own garment to obtain a measurement, that's for damned sure. I think Kayne will be next to go. All Kayne has done through the entire competition has been to make costumes and pageant outfits. He's GREAT at that, but that's not what he's been asked to do every time. --- Also, really quick -- today is the 9th anniversary of the passing of Diana, Princess of Wales. --- Okay. Done. Have a nice Thursday. ---
