Heroes Who Listen Friday, Oct. 06, 2006 - 12:55 a.m. John survived his most recent trip to the doctor. He got his tetanus booster and the first of the two inocculations for chicken pox. He marveled at the fact that the needle didn't hurt like the ones from his childhood. He also grunched about the fact that the rent-a-mobs caused the bus lines to be re-routed so he had to take a cab from the office to the clinic. Like John, I don't mind a protest, myself, but why do those assholes have to be so disruptive? --- Did you know there are some US veterans who are not allowed to have their religious icon of choice on their gravestone? I can't understand why this is an issue. --- Friday Five:
I'd have super hearing. What would be your supername? Clarity Woman! Who would be your arch-nemesis and what would be their superpower? Her name would be Tone Deaf. She'd never listen to anything people say, and leave a trail of destruction in her wake. Who would be your sidekick and would they have a superpower? My sidekick would be Ear Drummer, and he'd use his drumsticks to pound people into submission. What would be your motto? "Shut Up And Listen" Link to the left. --- I think that's it, kids. Have a good Friday! ---
