Step On No Pets Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006 - 1:26 p.m. Hi kids! The entry is a little later than usual because my bifurcated sleep habits caught up with me. I haven't unpacked my laptop yet, except to harvest pics. If all goes well, my next entry will be from my computer. --- On the way down on Thursday night, I heard an extremely clever song by Weird Al Yankovic, called 'Bob'. It's on the album 'Poodle Hat' and if you look up the lyrics, you'll see what I mean. --- Cero's was enjoyable last night; there were even a couple of extremely over-amped Aussies in the crowd! Apparently they're like me; they travel to So Cal several times a year and a stop at Cero's is mandatory -- presumably so they can drink a few pigs at the rubbidy and throw the duds over the eighteen. A few people showed up in costume, even though the official party is tonight and not last night; the man in the Arnold Schwarzeneger mask shook hands with everybody and stayed in character for at least forty-five minutes. It's cooler here than it has been, but the sky is screaming blood red at sunset due to the fires up in the hills nearby. --- Okay, done. Have a good Saturday, and I'll check back with you tomorrow. ---
