Food and Allergies Monday, Dec. 04, 2006 - 9:38 a.m. The wind has finally moderated and so have my allergies. Thursday, the day I got here, was the worst, and Friday and Saturday were spent rubbing the bottom two-thirds of my face raw. However, yesterday, Sunday, at night when I washed my face, my skin was smooth again, and today..? My rosacea has retreated. Maybe losing a layer of skin showed it who's the boss. --- Dinner last night was pretty good. Dave has an unerring sense of where to find decent food for a low price, and we went to the little Hong Kong deli thing next to his regular laundromat. Holy mackerel! For about six dollars, you get three dishes and a huge helping of either rice or chow mein. I put a dent in it last night, but the rest is today's lunch and dinner for me. --- Nothing else to report. Oh, yeah. Got the Bounce last night at Walgreens. I am using a sheet of it on my hair. And I'm sorry for jumping the shark yesterday with the phrase 'morbidly diaphanous halo'. I won't do that again. Have a good Monday. ---
