Best Laid Plans Sunday, Jan. 28, 2007 - 12:57 a.m. Well, kids, I'd planned to be making a detailed concert report with a half dozen amazing pictures, except for the fact that absolutely NONE of them turned out. However, it's okay. John and I went to see Keane at the Berkeley Community Center. Tom Chaplin is looking much better. I had no idea he had this level of energy, and it was a sight to behold since he has been clean. We were one row back from the stage, and at one point Tom pranced down the stairs and into the pit crowd and stopped next to us. Security was omnipresent, but incredibly cool and very full of smiles. This was the seventh time I'd seen Keane, and it was absolutely wonderful. I never get tired of them. This time, it looked like a rebirth on stage. --- Sorry such a short post. I spent most of Saturday night on my feet, and am exhausted. It's been so long since I stood up at a concert I forgot that it's an endurance sport! --- That's it. Have a good Sunday! ---
