Easy Reader OD Monday, Feb. 05, 2007 - 12:29 p.m. Last night after the Super Bowl, Dave made Army Nachos. They were stunningly good. And while we ate, we watched one of his Electric Company DVDs. It's been surprisingly nostalgic and comforting to be able to sing along again. --- Today it's not quite as warm, but I'm still dressing for warm weather, even though I'm not going to be out in it for a significantly long time. Also, today, I get to go and work with Bob Chance again! It's enjoyable working with him, because most of the time he's one of those charmingly fun fellas you work for who makes it feel nothing like work. Dave's meeting last night with the new roomie went smashingly well. I have a feeling this is going to work out wonderfully. He told Dave that once he was in, he was in to stay, but if things went sideways, he'd give Dave six months' rent as an exit fee -- and then he offered his hand and they shook on it. I was astonished, and later, Dave said he felt very, very lucky to have found this guy. --- Today's adverbs have been brought to you by the suffix "-ly". Have a good Monday. ---
