Dubya & Dxing Monday, Mar. 26, 2007 - 2:01 a.m. It's come to the point where I need to actually scrunch down to the shelf where the receiver lives and reprogram some of the radio stations. The 'Jack FM / Whatever We Want' station has disappeared, only to be replaced by Young Country, which John and I despise. The very last oldies station our device can receive with any strength has been replaced by top-40 dance music -- 'Movin' -- and IT sucks, as well. I don't even like to ACCIDENTALLY listen to this crap. I'm gonna have to fix the antenna and do some DXing before I reset everything. --- Well, my friend Bluemeany has finally arrived in Iraq again. This is after her superiors told her that if she re-enlisted for three years instead of one, she wouldn't have to go back to Iraq. Anyway, as you can see, she's settled in, mostly sorta kinda, and what I want you to consider is this: The troops involved in our military 'surge' do not have housing. They just have tents. And if our congress votes against keeping them there, through suspension of funds, or other ridiculous means, they'll have to live in tents throughout the summer in the desert. Blue doesn't deserve that just because she's doing her job. Bless Dubya's pointed little head. I'll sure be glad when he finally tells us what the fuck we're still doing over there. --- The Anna Nicole Smith autopsy results are supposed to be released later today in a press conference. There's a persistent rumor that she died of septicemia from a bad needle used to administer medication to her in the Bahamas -- but let's wait and see what the medical examiner has to say. --- I think that's it. Have a good Monday. ---
