Friday Five / Market and Home

Friday, Mar. 30, 2007 - 12:20 a.m.

Had a piece of news today.

Bob Chance has gone into the hospital to see about a couple of his toes that have gone septic.

Not sure if those particular little piggies are going to make it, but if it's for the best and it saves him from worse, then I suppose it is a good trade for saving the rest of the leg, and possibly even his life.

Everybody cross everything. He needs your vibes.

If you're lucky enough to be able to receive Da Vinci's Inquest on WGN, the storyline is really getting good now; I recommend TiVoing a week or so of it and see if you enjoy the characters.

There are very few famous people I want to actually meet and talk to and like, have dinner with.

But Nicholas Campbell is definitely one of them.

Okay, Friday Five:

If you had to choose being blind or deaf, what would you choose and why?
I am losing my hearing and it's not my choice. But all things considered, the rest of my senses compensate just fine.

What is the best smell?
A clean head of hair is nice. Crayons. Apple pie.... but I also like that 'prune dipping snuff fresh tomato baby powder' smell that was my gran.

Would you rather be hot or cold?
I can handle cold a lot better than I can heat.

What's the worst feeling in the world?
Pain coupled with embarassment. I ran into a parked truck once with my bike. In front of my elementary school. I hope I never fall down in a street anywhere ever again.

Would you rather have something hurt or something be itchy?
I can manage pain. I am less successful at managing an itch.

Link is to the left.

---

Okay, there you go. Enjoy your Friday if you can.
