Small But Important Thursday, Apr. 05, 2007 - 9:13 a.m. I made it safely to Anaheim only to be greeted with the news that Bob Clark and his son were killed in an automobile accident over on Pacific Coast Highway. Bob Clark directed a lot of movies, two of my favorites of which were Porky's, and A Christmas Story. Apparently the culprit was a drunk-driving illegal alien. We'll have to wait and see if this is a catalyst of any sort for undocumented worker legislation. I doubt it will be, because California has become the state it is on the backs of same. --- No word as of yet on Bob Chance, who was supposed to have surgery yesterday to have a piggie or two removed. Dave is assuming that no news is good news, because if something really awful had happened, such as Bob's death or an amputation to the ankle, some sort of information would have immediately found its way in to the usual sources of subspace chatter. --- Not much else to write; today's to-do list is to see about getting Dave a dustpan, a broom, and a sponge mop because Charlie took his with him. There is also only one roll of TP and one roll of paper towels in the entire household -- but that seems to be from regular atrition, not having anything to do with Charlie and AiVy's move out. So, yes, there are small but important things to see to today. --- I think that's it, loves. Have a good Thursday. ---
