Picture This

Monday, Apr. 09, 2007 - 1:52 a.m.

Yesterday was Easter Sunday, and after Dave got home from work, and we assured one another that no tiredness was in evidence, we returned to Disneyland.

Like Saturday, we started over on Disney's California Adventure, but this time we managed to do Soarin Over California and the Muppets 3D Adventure and Monsters Inc.

Also, I found out that Dave had never seen the Electrical Parade, so we HAD to stay and watch that whole thing.

Then we made a mad dash across the way to Disneyland to see the fireworks and saw most of them -- after which the park was mercifully empty.

I sat out only one ride, which was Thunder Mountain (because I am Thunder Chicken), but the rest of the evening was the usual rides.

The Pirates of the Carribean ride was especially lovely on Sunday night. There was extra fog and excellently behaved riders, and just generally it was better than usual.

---

Meanwhile, John went over to Dad and Nadine's for Easter Sunday, and he had a good time there, too.

---

Weirdnesses were everywhere, especially when it came to complete human imperviousness to fellow human beings. We miraculously happened upon one of the fastest lines back into Disneyland just before the fireworks began, and as we were digging our cards out for the swipe -- a teenaged girl ahead of us in line took her camera out, turned, and took a picture of the other park -- while we're trying to get in.

Sigh.

---

Otherwise there were no problems to speak of. Easter Sunday seemed to put everybody in a decently co-operative mood.

---

Okay, that's it, kids. Have a good Monday!
