Burgers and Meatloaf

Sunday, Apr. 29, 2007 - 3:00 a.m.

Yesterday was nice and quiet.

John took the car out and got it cleaned and pressed, and I stayed in because of my allergies.

We had hamburgers for dinner, and watched the movie Bagger Vance on DVD.

---

I got some 'meatloaf' from one of my Regular Meatloaf Senderouters last night.

Meatloaf is like spam, except it's sent from somebody you know. i.e. it's home-made.

It was the 'Holocaust no longer being taught in UK schools' email.

The truth of that email is that one class in one grade-level in one school in one district in one county opted not to offer a class about the Holocaust, but that the rest of the schools in the UK are teaching it. Unfortunately that is something the British tabloid journalists have downlplayed in their eagerness to generate headlines.

Thank you, Snopes!

---

This week, Cinema Insomnia was a blast. Mr. Lobo is in top form as usual.

I don't even remember what the movie was; Rod Serling narrated some sort of Erich Von Danniken crap.

However, this episode featured Scoptione interstitials, which was a really wonderful surprise!

---

And now, with thanks to The Devlyn, here's Jackson Pollock.

---

I think that's it. Have a nice Sunday.
