Music and Pergo

Monday, Jun. 11, 2007 - 12:08 a.m.

They weren't laying carpet downstairs.

They were installing a Pergo floor.

No fucking WONDER it was so noisy!

But John caught a glimpse through the door. He says it looks finished.

We are learning more about what was the matter with P@ris H1lton.

Word has it that she was afraid of the jail toilet.

Her solution was not to eat or drink for three days so she wouldn't use it.

Yes sir, that girl's got her some brains -- and apparently she was afraid to expose them to a strange new surface.

Found over on ThirdEyeInspirations:

1. The best musician ever is?
No idea

2. The best female voice ever?
Nina Hagen

3. Do you listen to mainstream music?
Not on American radio. Usually via the BBC or Virgin Radio UK

4. List your top 10 favourite bands/singers.
Keane / Tom Chaplin
Keane / Tom Chaplin
Keane / Tom Chaplin

5. Five years ago how many of the bands/singers did you know stated above?
Keane was unknown to me.

6. Have you ever been in a mosh-pit?
Not by choice.

7. Ever been to a concert?
Yes.

8. A CD you have that you're ashamed of?
None come to mind.

9. Do you have an IPOD?
A first generation one, yes. Nearly useless, but quite a time-piece.

10. Name a band/musician you don't like.
It's somebody I know. Greedy and self-involved and air-headed and out for himself as opposed to the better interests of the rest of his band members. There's a mirror in the venue where he works, and whenever he gazes lovingly at his reflection, he misses licks. That's okay, though. His arse is about to get bit, but good. Heh.

11. The best guitarist ever?
Stanley Jordan

12. The best drummer ever?
Phil Collins

13. What music did you listen to in school/growing up?
The very end of Disco, and the very beginning of New Wave.

14. Do you wanna be in a band?
I have been.

15. Do you play an instrument?
Yes.

Okay, there you go.

I didn't see The Sopranos last night, and I have never seen an episode, not even the syndicated versions.

Thankfully, I've missed the fuss. Oh, well. :-P

---

Have a good Monday -- if that's possible.
