Pics And Panky

Sunday, Jun. 17, 2007 - 5:52 p.m.

Here are a couple of additional pictures from my meeting with Requiel on Friday:

This is us in front of Soarin' Over California. My hair is a little frizzier than usual because I'd been standing under the rocket engine steam. I also did a little alteration on the front of my shirt because I'd been standing under the rocket engine steam.

Ahem.

And here below is Requiel's husband Scott, with their daughter Sierra.

Thank you to Requiel for allowing me to to photograph this very devoted pair of people. This is one of the most mellow and adorable young ladies I've met in awhile:

It was a warm day, and we didn't dither around for very long, but it was a very nice meeting, and I'm glad it took place.

Requiel, thank you for allowing me to visit with you all. You were extremely good and amazingly open to meeting a fellow Diarylander -- and with everything that I've personally been through, you all were so sweet that my personal experiences and subsequent trust issues were extremely easy to forget. I really consider that amount of trust from you as a very gracious and wonderful gift.

Now then. Here is a little something for all of you fathers out there.

This next link is not safe for work and is rated R.

This is a performance artist named Ursula Martinez. The act she is performing is called 'Hanky Panky.'

This is one of the funniest and coolest variations on classic sleight-of-hand I've seen in a long time, so if your parameters allow you to have a look, please do.

---

Okay, that's it.

Happy Father's Day.

If you've never done so before, go mouse over the starfish on the left, and click there to see a story about my own dad.

Have a good Sunday!
