Wowie And Owie Sunday, Jun. 24, 2007 - 3:00 a.m. Ladies and gentlemans, I guarantee you have never seen anything quite like this before. Told ya. --- My beloved John performed the utterly stunning miracle of making the entire living room suitable for visitors again. I'd been using the futon as a staging area when I packed; it had become a mountain of Stuff With Legs. Thank you, John. You are a miracle worker. --- Finally, OBDave came home late Sat Sun with an owie. Not just any owie. His right index finger got caught in one of the games at work. There was a perfect rectangle of skin missing from the inside of the first joint of his right pointer finger. No muscles and no nerves were damaged, and lucky for him he got out of the way of the machinery before the finger actually got severed. I know how much he likes that finger. It's his J and his ampersand finger and his booger finger. It's the finger he uses to shut off his CPAP machine. He would have missed it a lot. As it stands, it will be quite the adventure trying to keep it clean and disinfected until the skin forms again. Yes, I do have a picture. But unlike Blister Watch, I'll spare you this time. --- Okay, there ya go. Have a good Sunday. ---
