Friday Five / Batteries

Friday, Jul. 06, 2007 - 2:09 a.m.

Cybill Shepard says she was sexually accosted / threatened by somebody she used to go out with.

Alas, the dear woman hasn't spoken up until now about something that happened many years ago.

I wonder how she would feel if she ever heard of the aggressor's having hurt somebody else?

Friday Five:

What sets you apart from your friends?

Well, I'm still trapped inside a *body*, for one thing. Or was that too esoteric?

What sets you apart from your family?

I was shorter than everybody else. Also, almost everybody is dead.

What sets you apart from your coworkers/fellow students?

The fact that I don't have coworkers or fellow students right now is probably what sets me apart from them.

What is the one thing about you that is most unique?

My keen observation of the awkward grammatical stylings of others. 'Most unique'? Is that really an acceptable phrase? You're either unique or you are not unique; I'm unaware that a modifier can be applied to that description.

What is your most interesting quality?

If I am not interrupted before I'm done, which is almost never, I tell a hell of a good story now and then.

Okay, link is to the left.

I seem NOT to be allergic to the stuff that's clearing up my UTI. Yay!

---

After three years to nearly the day, I'm bidding farewell to my first set of twelve rechargeable batteries and my second battery charger. I think that getup only cost about seventy dollars, but that's less than fifty cents a week between then and now. With the amount of pictures I take, I need this stuff to work, and when it croaks, it croaks in grand style. I'll feel safer with a new set of stuff where all the batteries take every charge without complaint.

---

I think I'm done. Have a good Friday.
