Friday The 13th / Slogans Friday, Jul. 13, 2007 - 5:08 a.m. That Miss New Jersey extortion thing was weird. The demand was for her to relinquish her crown or some questionable pictures of her would be shown to the public. Why would a blackmailer want a crown holder to step down? I'll bet you it was one of the stage mothers whose daughter didn't win. --- The following people were born on a Friday the 13th: Margaret Thatcher, Peter Davison, Steve Buschemi, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. The most interesting and unusual death was that of the composer, Arnold Schoenburg. He had a severe case of triskadekaphobia, and died about thirteen minutes to midnight on the night of Friday, July 13th, 1951. He was 76. --- The Friday Five for this week has me completely stymied, so I'm not going to play. Instead, I lightfingered this from Clipchick over on MySpace: The Slogan Generator. I spun the wheel over there a number of times: Hungry? Why wait? Grab A Bindyree. and my personal favorite All The Bindyree That's Fit To Print. --- All right, there you go. Go play with a black cat and walk under a ladder today! ---
