Stub and 756 Wednesday, Aug. 08, 2007 - 12:32 a.m. Yesterday, John got home from work at his usual time, peeled off his shoes and socks, and showed me this. (Warning -- Ouchie!) He says it doesn't hurt, but he's told me not to touch it. It doesn't feel to him like a break or a sprain; we're thinking this is nothing more than a butt-ugly bruise. --- In other news, Mike Bacsik got married last night. Well, not technically, but it might as well be the case. He's going to be tied to Barry Bonds for the rest of his professional existence. When I turned the sound off on the television, and stood over by the window, I could hear the fireworks. Bacsik has a good attitude, and was really a class act. --- Last night, I heard Lance Williams, the co author of Game Of Shadows, make a blanket statement that Giants fans have accepted, forgiven, excused, and ignored any possible steroid use. I'm a Giants fan and I've done none of that. Just wanted to let you know we're not all part of the cult. I honestly want nothing more than all of the naysayers to be proven wrong. --- Okay, that's it. Have a good Wednesday! ---
