Turn Back Time Sunday, Nov. 04, 2007 - 12:07 a.m. Cinema Insomnia had a very special treat for us Cinema Insomniacs: Mr. Lobo showed Hardware Wars, and his special guest was none other than Ernie Fosselius. I once asked a friend of mine if he had ever seen Hardware Wars, and that friend looked at me and gave the very earnest and sincere answer, "No, I've only seen the preview,"...at which point, I figured any attempt at clarification with him would be futile. --- John's cell phone rang last night. It was his Dad, calling to let us know that our cousin Robert had just died of cancer. And yes, my dear readers, you know who this is. He's the fellow who had to carve the Thanksgiving turkey when he wanted to watch football instead. Here's the link to that entry, if you would like to see it again. Robert Espinosa was one of the funniest human beings on the planet, with that rare combination of cynicism and kindness that so few celebrity humorists these days have actually taken the time to master or embrace. Thankfully his insanity has blessed other members of the family. I have no doubt that God is laughing. --- Sorry not a long post. Remember to set your clocks back an hour if your computer didn't do it already like MINE did. I have to go move the clock back to San Francisco at two in the morning; right now it lives in Denver. ---
