Eat And Sit

Sunday, Nov. 18, 2007 - 1:07 a.m.

Saturday was an eat-and-sit day.

If we'd have a fireplace, it would have been roaring away.

Pledge drives are well underway on the station that usually shows Cinema Insomnia.

It's hard to believe anything could be better than last week's The Horror Of Party Beach, but it's still very bittersweet to see things interrupted by so many pledge drives.

Why don't the local fans do a Doctor Who pledge drive, or a Cinema Insomnia based pledge drive like the kind I used to see and participate in twenty years ago?

Sigh.

Pictures of the day come from Hokies Thank The World.

Um... you're welcome. I'm sorry when shit like this happens, but for those of us left on this side of the dirt, we should always try to understand the causes of such things, and then try and move on with a better idea of prevention in the future.

John finally found an allergy medicine that seems to be working for him. It's called Allegra.

Sudafed did work to make his nose and eyes quit watering, but it had the unfortunate side effect of stopping him up Somewhere Else Kind Of Important.

Allegra isn't doing that to him! Yayyy!!!

The wheels of justice turn for us all; we're all chained to the law, and I think in this case, the sheriff should have backpedaled.

The incident sort of gives a whole new meaning to the term 'banana seat', now, doesn't it?...

Thank you, thank you, tip your server.

All right, that's quite enough. Enjoy your Sunday.
