Filthy :: Politics This has been one of the better and more consistent memes, and I recommend it if you are into them. --- Study the following picture carefully, for you will be tested: Now then -- tell me which slice belongs to me. --- I had myself yet another little scare with my computer last night -- My battery wouldn't charge. Certain runs of Powerbooks occasionally have temper tantrums followed by amnesia, where they forget they're supposed to be charging the battery while the cord is plugged in. There's a combination of keys to push, along with the start button, which resets the PMU and make the computer remember to charge the battery. Things are all better now, but there was a frightening moment when my hard drive made a noise that really sounded like Death. Note to Powerbookers out there who have to reset your PMU: Don't panic. Take a deep breath, and wait until that Death Beep is done, then push the restart one more time. Everything should re-set just fine. It did with mine, but not before that magnificent dose of adrenaline. --- All righters. Have a good Sunday. ---
