Thumbs Saturday, Dec. 08, 2007 - 2:30 a.m. Wow, I had my back turned for about fifteen minutes, and there ya go. I swear, if Siamese cats had opposable thumbs, they'd be ruling the world. --- The vet said that Solange's sneezes were probably as Dave suspected, namely, she's suffering from Cat-Who-Picked-The-Dustiest Place-In-The-Whole-Apartment-To-Use-As-Headquarters-Itis. There's a vacant strip of rug between two storage bins of old video tapes which are under Old Buddy Dave's bed. Solange decided this would be an excellent place to begin her residency with Old Buddy Dave, but she's been sneezing when she wakes up, and it's been a trying couple of days while she's been at the mercy of the dust buffaloes. The vet listened to her breathing, and declared her healthy. --- It was good to see the band again, as always. The show seemed kind of surreal and ever so slightly slowed down (whoops; say THAT five times fast), and to add to the extra fun of the night, one of the two servers walked out during the first break, at around half past ten. Bulletins as events warrant. --- Nothing else to add for now, except thank deity of choice for the rain. It is welcome here in the most parched part of the state. Yes -- even during load-out. --- All rightie, there. Have a good Saturday! ---
