Flipside Thursday Thursday, Dec. 20, 2007 - 1:10 a.m. Dave and I were sitting in Hometown Buffet yesterday afternoon, enduring the sonorous fruits of the speaker system. It's that time of year again, pigeons. The feed was nothing but Christmas music. We differed on which things sounded best, but we did both pine for more variety. How many Christmas songs are actually in semi-permanent circulation? Twenty? Thirty? Dave said I would probably go nuts if all I ever heard on the radio for two weeks was nothing but Keane songs, as interpreted good bad or otherwise by other artists. Yup. Oh well, it's not for too much longer now. --- Today, John begins his two-week vacation, and tonight I fly back to the Bay Area. John nearly gets an entire day off to himself! W00t! --- It's always a good visit with Old Buddy Dave, and this time was made extry crispy special by the addition of Solange, the amazing Siamese cat to Chez TooOld. I've taken pictures, and will share them with you after I've gotten back to SF and had a couple of days to rewind and unlax. Not a long post today, kids. See you on the flipside and have a good Thursday! ---
