Stormy Friday Saturday, Jan. 05, 2008 - 2:00 a.m. Yesterday was indeed a stormy day. However, right at sunset, there was a break. Here's what it looked like: I really loved that scallop of storm versus sky. It didn't last, though, and another small system came through about an hour after the picture was taken. But as of this writing, things are calm. --- We didn't have a power outage in my neighborhood; I'm still sticking with my theory that some sort of PG&E Lord High Muckymuck must live over in Sea Cliff, with whom our block shares the power grid, and that things have been gerrymandered so that Mucky never has to light a single candle. During a thirty hour period, in the nine Bay Area counties, there have been one thousand car accidents. --- Britney Spears is now in a psychiatric lockdown for evaluation through the weekend, and Kevin Federline has been awarded sole physical and legal custody of his children. Windshield. Bug. --- Friday Five hasn't been posted yet, so hang in there. --- I'll see you tomorrow, kids! Have a good Saturday. ---
