Cold Holiday Monday, Jan. 21, 2008 - 12:02 a.m. It's supposed to be cold tonight and later this morning. We could even have snow on the lower elevations. I believe it, as I am premenstrual and very crabby and my skin is broken out and my boobs feel like rocks and absolutely none of this feels any better when it's colder versus warmer. Hm. Zits, tits, and snits. Yup. The Holy Trinity of Benevolent Ovarian Dictatorship. --- Today is the observance holiday for Martin Luther King Jr. This means no banks and no postal service and no govamint offices open and probably some other stuff I don't remember. Let me get semi-blasphemous here and say that I hope the malls are open. I was reading about this holiday, though, and I discovered an interesting piece of trivia. It's one of four American Federal (meaning nationally observed) holidays which celebrate the birth of an individual. Can you name the other three? (although, honestly, one of the holidays is a two-fer.) Okay, the twofer is President's Day; I'll give that one to ya, to celebrate Lincoln and Washington. But there's two more left. Can you name those two? US Federal holidays which celebrate birthdays of individuals?.. Good luck. I'll tell you tomorrow if it's not answered in the comments section. --- I think that's it. Have a good Monday! ---
