Cold Process Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008 - 12:09 a.m. I love this process. Every four years I have something of a purge:
In a bid to get more voters to the polls, Secretary of State Debra Bowen is planning an all-day drive Tuesday to attract last-minute voters. A report released by Bowen's office last month found that slightly more than 15.4 million Californians have registered to vote in the primary election. That number reflects 67 percent of the state's eligible voters. State law requires Californians to register to vote 15 days before an election, but the voters have an extra day this year because the deadline falls on the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. People, I will keep this simple. If you have chosen not to vote in the Presidential elections, and I somehow get wind of it? I will not be speaking to you anymore. --- Well, as far as I have been able to discern, we have not had any snow at sea level. But the night is young. And it's fucking COLD. I was telling Dragprincess that by the end of the week, we will have recovered the bodies from the homes where the idiots decided that just a *few* briquets in the ol hibachi wouldn't cause any harm. --- Britney Spears has... um... You know what, I don't know where to start. Never mind. --- Okay, I'll let you know if it snows anywhere here in SF. Otherwise, I'm done. Have a nice Tuesday, and go register to vote! ---
